BSEB Bihar DElEd, DPEd Results 2026: How to Download Your Scorecards (2026)

The Bihar School Examination Board has declared the results of the Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) and Diploma in Physical Education (DPEd) examinations for 2026. This year, the DElEd Joint Entrance Examination was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from June 8 to June 22, 2026, with 2,23,835 candidates appearing and 1,65,609 qualifying. The overall pass percentage stands at 73.99%.

The DPEd results for the first-year (2025-27) and second-year (2024-26) training sessions were also announced, with 132 candidates qualifying out of 149 appearing. The overall pass percentage for DPEd was 89.59%.

Candidates can download their scorecards from the official websites bsebdeled.com and dped.biharboardonline.org, respectively. They need to log in using their application ID and date of birth.

The admission process for DElEd will be based on the merit list prepared from the entrance examination scores. Eligible candidates will be allotted seats in government and private teacher education institutes across Bihar, following the state's reservation policy and category-wise seat allocation. The Common Application Form (CAF) will be filled online, with a detailed schedule to be announced separately.

The scrutiny window for DPEd results opens from August 10 to August 13, 2026, allowing candidates to apply for scrutiny if they are not satisfied with their marks. The scrutiny fee is fixed at Rs 200 per subject, and the process will be conducted online only.

What makes this particularly fascinating is the significant pass percentages in both DElEd and DPEd, indicating a high level of academic achievement among candidates. However, it raises a deeper question about the quality of education and the standards set by the board. One thing that immediately stands out is the large number of candidates appearing for the examinations, suggesting a high level of interest and competition in the field of teacher education.

In my opinion, the scrutiny process is a crucial aspect of the examination system, ensuring fairness and transparency. However, the scrutiny fee of Rs 200 per subject seems relatively high and may be a burden for some candidates. What many people don't realize is that the DPEd results show a higher pass percentage than the DElEd results, which could imply a difference in the difficulty level or the nature of the examinations.

If you take a step back and think about it, the DElEd and DPEd examinations are crucial for the development of the education system in Bihar. The high pass percentages indicate a strong foundation of knowledge among candidates, which is essential for the future of education in the state. What this really suggests is that the board is doing a good job in setting and conducting examinations, but there is always room for improvement and innovation.

In conclusion, the declaration of DElEd and DPEd results for 2026 is a significant event for the education sector in Bihar. It highlights the importance of teacher education and the need for a robust examination system. The scrutiny process and the admission process are essential components of the system, ensuring fairness and transparency. As an expert, I believe that the board should continue to strive for excellence and innovation in the field of education, benefiting the students and the society as a whole.
